About SIMBIZ

Today’s world demands more than an employee; it demands entrepreneurs that can create more job opportunities. The number of qualified youngsters is increasing daily but the number of the available job doesn’t move accordingly. The youngsters need to be trained to be entrepreneurs who create jobs and not only employees who seek jobs. With this in mind, SIMBIZ is created to train and empower the young generations to be entrepreneurs for the future of the world.

SIMBIZ was created to motivate people to use their skill and their perception to experience managing their business. “Establishing competitiveness among entrepreneurs” was the theme for last year’s event. This year, we would like to enhance the experience by using the theme “Establishing sustainability and competitiveness among entrepreneurs” which convey that entrepreneurs not only they should be competitive, but also have an idea of how to sustain their business. The concept of this event is renewed with the newly developed games and redesigned stages. The SIMBIZ 2018 is created to bring out more stirring feel to learning business, showing to all participants that learning business can be fun. SIMBIZ will consist of three stages adding up to numerous challenges that would motivate high school and university students to develop their business skills in an interesting way. In the end we would hope that these experiences from the event would encourage their minds to come up with a more creative and original development of business ideas in real life situations.

With support from Prestasi Junior Indonesia (PJI); an affiliation of one of the largest and fastest growing organizations that focused on business, entrepreneurial and economic education, Junior Achievement Worldwide, students can apply the theory learned in economic education and technology through this competition. The purpose of this event is to develop high school and university students’ interests in business and investment, widening the participants’ experiences and knowledge by learning new skills through the utilization of ’cutting edge’ software and directly getting into the business phase itself.
